Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka is a Belarussian born in Minsk. Sergey Sabalenka (d. 2019) is her father, a hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka, born on May 5th, 1998, from Minsk Belarus. Her career has seen her been awarded 12 WTA singles titles, including the Grand Slam at the 2023 Australian Open. As a doubles player, she's also a great player. She has won two Majors with Elise Mertens. They won the US Open in 2019 and the Australian Open in 2021. She also achieved an incredible Sunshine Double in 2019, winning in the WTA 1000 at Indian Wells, Miami and the Australian Open alongside Elise Mertens. Just four pairs of women's tennis had achieved this achievement. Her ranking went from second to third in World Singles Rankings at the end of August on the 23rd, 2021. Her best ranking was again achieved in the month of January in 2023. After winning the Melbourne doubles event in February of 2021 She was able rise up the rankings to be the number one player for this particular area. Dmitry Tursunov, a former Russian tennis star, coached her during her 2018 season to the conclusion and this season in 2020. She also briefly teamed up with Dieter Kindlmann in August until September 2020. Antonio Dubrov, her fellow nationman, has been her coach from the year 2020. Her top idols include Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova.
